INTERNSHIP ROLE
We are looking for a Apparel Product Developer Intern to join Timberland within VF EMEA Internship Program.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
Work in close partnership with Designer, PM and Merch on the Energy/SMU/Key Accounts Categories and drive the review of new styles
Ensuring Timberland quality and fit standards are executed while adopting structured methods and processes to improve workflow
Build efficient interaction with the Fit and Tech specialist to improve level of execution and alignment across product categories
Translate designs into full specification packages with accurate technical details, bill of materials, construction details, size specs and grade rules
Support the Development Team to plan and track development schedule of all assigned products to ensure timely completion
Develop strong relation with Regional Sourcing teams and work together with vendors to ensure all products meet required standards
Ensure all key global deadlines are upheld
Be an engaged and committed team-mate, Be a facilitator in negotiations
Assisting during fitting and comments
Ensure any pattern amendments are detailed to the Vendors
Updating Tech Packs and BOM’s post Line Close ( S24 ) as well as kick-off S24 Collabs and SMU
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
You are currently studying, or you have recently graduated (in 2023 only) – it’s a must
You are fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
You have curious mindset with passion for working with people
You are eager to learn and face up new challenges
First experience such as other internships, extracurricular activities, is considered as a plus

KEY INTERNSHIP INFO
Start date: September 15th
For the first 6 months your salary will be 1600chf/month, while for the following 6 months it is 1900chf/month
We cannot grant that internship will lead you to the permanent position, but thanks to the effective training 70% of interns are staying in the company after the internship period!
