Kipling Marketing GLOBAL is looking for a hands-on Intern Community Specialist to join our Brand Team based in Antwerp, Belgium. This is a 6-month internship.

What you’ll do:
As the Intern Global Community Specialist, you will play a vital role in enhancing Kipling’s brand presence and engagement across various online platforms. You will work closely with the Global Social Media Sr Specialist and other cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategies that foster meaningful connections with Kipling’s online community. Your responsibilities will include community management, social media monitoring, listening monitoring and analysis of community engagement metrics. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in building and nurturing a global online community for an iconic fashion brand.
In this role, your tasks will be:
Community Management:
Actively engage with Kipling’s online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media channels.
Foster positive relationships and create a welcoming environment for community members, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed promptly.
Identify and escalate potential issues or opportunities to the Global Social Media Sr Specialist for further action.
Connect with other regional teams for support on customers queries.
Social Media & Listening Monitoring:
Monitor Kipling’s social media channels to stay up-to-date with community conversations, trends, and competitor activities.
Identify and engage with influential community members, advocates, and brand ambassadors to foster brand loyalty and advocacy.
Report on key social media metrics and insights to track the performance and impact of community initiatives.
Analyse the sentiment expressed in online conversations to determine whether it is positive, negative, or neutral.
Identify emerging trends, topics, and themes that are being discussed online that impact or affect Kipling helping in staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and understanding what is resonating with the target audience.
Monitor online conversations and mentions related to competitors to gain insights into their strategies, customer perception, and market position.
Crisis Monitoring: actively monitor online conversations during potential times of crisis or reputation management issues to quickly identify potential problems, address concerns, and take appropriate actions to mitigate negative sentiment.
Analysis and Reporting:
Assist in analysing community engagement metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
Provide regular reports, highlighting key findings and actionable recommendations to enhance community engagement strategies.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in community management and social media marketing.
Skills for Success
Graduate in degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Strong passion for social media, online communities, and fashion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Demonstrated ability to engage and interact with online communities in a professional and friendly manner.
Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) and community management tools.
Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Fluency in English is required. Additional EU language skills are a plus.
