VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional BI Senior Data Engineer to join our Team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

The BI Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for delivering the insights and analytics framework through 3 main areas of delivery:
- Full funnel measurement framework, to deliver consistent and constant set of xbrand KPIs to monitor health of the business and drive high frequency diagnostics.
- Drive longitudinal insights: Proactively define an analysis agenda.
- Work as a products development gate, to support prioritization of product developments, by impact estimation and post release measurement.
Full funnel measurement framework
- Create strong stakeholders’ network across brands, to influence decision making and prioritization of activities.
- Set up funnel monitoring framework to effectively communicate and stimulate actions.
- Actively work on analytics platforms and suites, to blend internal and external data sources to create holistic views on performances.
- Identify cross-brand, business reporting, analytics and data management that can bring efficiencies and return on investment across the EMEA digital business.
- Establish weekly review with brand stakeholders to challenge full funnel KPI performance and push short term corrective actions.
- Forecasting yearly financial outcomes
Drive longitudinal insights
- Understand end-to-end usage of data, to clearly identify opportunities for further optimizations.
- Gather Business Requirements. This function comprises also Business Definition Management to ensure that requirements fit with the defined and agreed KPIs, business definitions and business rules.
- Partner with testing team to be the data and analytics lead on Reporting tests (internal tests and User Acceptance Tests) accurately and methodically collecting and analyzing results to help drive decisions forward.
- Drive continuous improvement.
- Provide Data & Reporting consultancy to Business Stakeholders
Work as a BI products development analytics gate
- Support Digital products functions prioritizing development and continuous improvement roadmap, evaluate impacts of planned items.
- In collaboration with the BI Team and Data Governance, apply analytics methodologies to measure impact of implemented features, with obsession for incrementality.
- Drive unbiased reporting and communication plans, to report on impact.
Skills for Success
- Excellent knowledge of, and experience with BI analytics tools. Particularly Power BI and Cognos
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to interpret and leverage data to drive decision making
- SQL knowledge
- Strong understanding of Transactional data (SAP FMS, CAR, FI/CO, PKMS)
- Strong Influencing skills and experience in managing stakeholders
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Organized, proactive and timely in delivering results
Additional
- Master’s degree (preferably in mathematics, finance, business or statistics) or equivalent.
- At least a few years of relevant systems experience in a retail Business Intelligence environment.
- Experience in the apparel industry / Data & BI consulting would be beneficial.
