VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing (Dickies EMEA) to lead our Regional Marketing Department in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

We are looking for an exceptionally strong Head of Marketing (Dickies EMEA) with an outstanding track record to lead our Regional Marketing Department. In this role, you will be directly reporting to the VP/General Manager Dickies EMEA and being part of the Dickies EMEA leadership team. You will serve as the voice of the Dickies consumer across the entire EMEA marketplace and steward the brand’s global brand positioning in the EMEA region across all channels and consumer touchpoints.

You will own the regional brand integrated marketing plan, lead and execute brand campaigns, consumer moments and always-on content through the GTM process. In this role you will also oversee campaign creative briefs for specific regionally driven channels and activations and execute all earned, owned, and paid media tactics in close collaboration with the Global Brand Management team aligned with the annual marketing operational plan. In close liaison with the regional General Manager of the Dickies Brand, you will set objectives, strategies, and a framework of tactics to build and expand the brand equity and effective execution of the Global Marketing strategy in the region.

This role requires an outstanding track record in visionary and highly effective GTM leadership and people management, as well as a proven track record in executing best-in-class marketing campaigns, marketplace activation and PR and communication strategies aligned with the Dickies hyper local Community approach and Global brand strategy and marketing framework.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Be the voice of the brand in the region, translating global marketing strategy into region-specific activation plan.
  • Overseeing the seasonal/quarterly/monthly/weekly integrated marketing plan, responsible for regional marketing budgets and allocation, CRM and loyalty programs, and strategy for events, channel marketing, and owned e-commerce.
  • Leading and pivoting social media management, media buying, and search.
  • Day-to-day relationship with Global Marketing leadership to translate Dickies Global Marketing Strategy into regional execution to drive and build brand equity and increase overall brand awareness in the EMEA marketplace.
  • Define and manage the annual marketing operational plan, regional brand marketing calendar, ensure full alignment with the business’s overall goals.
  • Close partnership with Product Merchandising, GTM, Sales and DTC leadership to create and execute annual/monthly/weekly GTM activation calendar that will form the basis for the creation and delivery of creative assets for use in digital and physical stores and across all digital media environments.
  • Full ownership and responsibility for effective regional marketing budget allocation aligned with the global-/regional annual marketing operational plan.
  • Responsible for the acquisition, conversion, and ROI of marketing activities across the Marketplace and direct-to-consumer channels, digital media, social media.
  • Leading all functions of the regional marketing department, including DTC/E-Com, Marketplace Marketing, Media Buying, Marketing Operations, social media, PR and Events.
  • Develop and maintain the relationships with external business partners, media, and relevant 3rd party agencies.
  • Establish and maintain the appropriate network of external creative partnerships that complement the internal capability to meet 100% of the brands’ creative services.
  • Leverage available channel/store/account shopper insights to elevate/accelerate shopper conversion.

Skills for Success

  • 10+ years’ leadership experience in business/marketing/management in a role with EMEA focus
  • 8+ years’ experience in managing teams within global/regional matrix organizations
  • Experience in brand strategy, marketing management in best-in-class consumer marketing environment – e.g. background from apparel & fashion, accessories, FMCG, or digital native brands
  • Strategic vision and deep understanding and passion for the industry and the Dickies lifestyle environment
  • Master’s degree in Marketing & Communication or equivalent working experience
  • Excellent leadership, compelling & inspiring communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage complex projects across various stakeholder groups and priorities
  • Ability to prioritize, lead and inspire a team to constantly outperform defined KPIs and objectives
  • Highly analytical and creative, data-driven approach: you combine analysis with innovation
  • Continuous Learner: you are always seeking to learn more and looking for ways to improve your results
  • Outstanding track record in previous marketing strategic planning and tactical marketing campaigns
  • Ecommerce / Marketplace Marketing know-how is a must
  • You can translate strategic priorities into operational reality, aligning communication, internal processes and ongoing measurement systems
  • You are driven and passionate to achieve challenging goals
  • You are building strategic work relationships
  • You are effectively facilitating change by encouraging others to seek opportunities for different and innovative approaches
