Let’s Talk about the Role

You will be the first point of contact for our Distributors or Digital Key Accounts, responsible for tracking the lifecycle of accounts from order entry to final delivery, along with being the first point of contact for the Team on Operational activities. You will engage and manage relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth orderbook management, with a main focus being optimizing conversion by utilizing pivotal connections with central and regional functions.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • You will understand and manage our Key Accounts (Distributors and Strategic) across several Countries in the EMEA region, and ensure timely orderbook conversion.
  • You will be responsible for compiling and generating Orderbook reports as they relate to customers.
  • You will participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders and manage email communication.
  • You will interpret a variety of daily reports as needed by the business.
  • You will follow the end-to-end order to shipment process, liaising with our DC to ensure timely shipping, as well as with Customs Department to ensure all relevant documents are provided for the shipment.
  • You will work with sales operations and planning to track shortages and delays to supply, communicating to the customer where required in order to maintain a clean orderbook
  • You will learn and understand the key initiatives in terms of core products and marketing investments that support the sales campaign in the season to ensure the products are served on time

Reporting to the Sales Manager, Switzerland and Italy Sales, you will directly manage and develop the Independent, Lifestyle, Sporting Goods and Outdoor Account channel’s strategic accounts for the assigned categories of business in the Central Switzerland while ensuring that the strong brand equity of Icebreaker and Smartwool are maintained.

  • Collaboration with Sales Manager to develop account-specific sales strategies.

  • Management of sell-in process to adhere to account proposals and maximize full-price sales and margins.
  • Delivery of accurate sales analysis that reflect market demand.
  • Implementation of the right product assortment for strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with the appropriate in-store experience across all relevant channels.
  • Launch of new seasons effectively, ensuring stores look great (fully stocked, VM’d, and POS up) and store staff are buzzed (Pure Genius training).
  • Ensuring the effective and responsible flow of Icebreaker and Smartwool inventory across the Swiss Outdoor, Sporting Goods, Lifestyle and Independent market.
  • Maintenance of account plans that are support and align with brand sales objectives and merchandising strategies.
  • Building of strong insightful and influential brand ambassadors within strategic accounts to identify opportunities and deliver a best-in-class Icebreaker and Smartwool experience at retail.
  • Leveraging knowledge of industry trends, market insights and competitor data to develop account and business plans.
  • Partnership with marketing to execute in-store events and marketing campaigns.
  • Full understanding of customer’s needs and decision-making process to create win-win solutions.

Skills for Success

  • 2-3 years of sales/marketing account management experience, ideally in outdoor apparel wholesale.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification  (e.g. Bachelor of Commerce or Business).
  • In-depht knowledge of the Outdoor and Independent retail landscape in Switzerland.
  • Proven sales process knowledge and ability to apply policies effectively.
  • Proven ability to deliver revenue and meet sales targets.

Maintain account plans that are aligned to deliver and support brand sales directions and merchandising strategies.
Use an effective, consultative approach to providing insight-based solutions to strategic accounts that establish Icebreaker and Smartwool as world class partners in the trade.
Build insightful and influential brand ambassadors within strategic accounts to help identify opportunities and deliver a best in class Icebreaker experience at retail.
Utilize understanding of industry trends, market/competitor data to develop account and business plans.

Skills for Success

Solid knowledge of the Outdoor and Independent retail landscape in Switzerland
Equivalent of 2-3 years’ sales/marketing account management experience, ideally for an outdoor apparel wholesaler
Outstanding customer service standards
Proven revenue delivery
Proficiency in Swiss German and English
Exceptional relationship building & management skills and motivation to meet targets
Proven analytical skills, and a high level of commercial acumen and sound judgment

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Accounting Support to join our Finance team based in Milan.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager and in cooperation with the Local CFO, the candidate will perform all phases of the accounting and controlling functions with the following main accountabilities:

Support preparation of monthly and annual statements and reports
Month-end and year-end closings according to national and international regulations
Account payable management (Invoices postings and payment proposal creation)
GL accounts reconciliations
Accruals and provisions analysis, control, postings and release
E-invocing flow monitoring
Payroll accounting
Local administration tasks

Skills for Success

Completed studies with a focus on Finance or Accounting
