Exciting distribution company specialising in the sales of leading international brands of consumer electronics, lifestyle and sports, seeks a new Sales Representative for European countries.

With a confident level in English and/or French, we’re looking for sales representatives native from Europe:

  • Netherlands
  • Germany
  • United Kingdom
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Spain
  • Denmark
  • Sweden
  • Norway
  • etc…

You will address your native tongue speaking regions.

You will join our French office located in Biarritz (France). The company is subsidiary of an international distribution group based in Barcelona (Spain).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a sales representative who is driven to succeed, not afraid to cold call, able to overcome objections and skilled in negotiation to open new doors and accounts.

This is an office-based phone sales role. Once new accounts have been opened you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining long term relationships.

Visits to strategic cities and key retailers will also be part of the role as well as supporting the company at various European events and exhibitions throughout the year.

Your territory and customers will be determined according to your nationality and languages spoken.

Under the responsibility of the sales director, as a sales representative you will:

Drive sales execution standards including:

  • Prospect retailers by phone cold call.
  • Build new and deepen existing business relationships through continual account satisfaction.
  • Train retail accounts in product knowledge and execution of merchandising standards.
  • Act as the brand ambassador and sales representative in your territory.
  • Meet both company and individual sales specific goals.
  • Report your weekly activity.

Support retail partners through:

  • Training and education.
  • Ensuring retail price and promotion management.
  • Identifying opportunities and trends in your territory.
  • Supporting Point Of Sales material placement to enhance the brand visibility.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU

Comfortable selling through cold calling.
Comfortable selling through face-to-face in retail stores and trade shows.
Fluent in one of the above languages.
Confident level in English and/or French.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Willing to travel across your territories and Europe.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
At ease with CRM systems.
Bachelor degree or relevant experience with a proven track record.
