Sr Specialist, Procure to Pay

VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Sr. Specialist, Procure to Pay to join our team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

As a Procure to Pay Sr. Specialist, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the procure-to-pay process.
This includes acting as a focal point for invoice generation and processing for both direct and indirect purchases while resolving any discrepancies, and approving payment proposals and requests.
Additionally, you will be responsible for executing manual payments as necessary.
Your role is crucial in ensuring smooth and efficient financial transactions within the organization.

1. Service Delivery

Act as a focal point and SME for all accounts payable work activities, both for VF organizations and outsource provider.
Perform transactional activities of a more complex nature, not in charge to outsource provider, and ensure completeness in timely and accurate manner.
Deliver and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings by processing transactions accurately and meeting agreed service levels for process specific area.
Support customer request/ problem identification follow defined incident notification and escalation procedures.
Identify risk associated with execution of the assigned tasks with the business process and escalate / mitigate / resolve as required.
Understand and comply with internal controls, regulations and security requirements linked to the business process and support on internal audit request and quality assurance requests.

2. Service Performance Management

Support Procure to Pay Lead to monitor, review and evaluate operational metrics, including dashboard reviews and follow up / validate as required with involvement of outsourced provider. Provide commentary and explanations as required.
Support Procure to Pay Lead to work to interpret SLA contractual framework defined within the outsourced provider engagement and monitor adherence.

3. People / Team Leadership

Assist in training others, cross training and/ or developing process knowledge.
Assist others in the completion of activities as needed.
Assist in training outsource provider or business function.

4. Continuous improvement and transformation

Promote the development of transformation and deliver operational excellence.
Apply understanding of assigned business process to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures.
Work closely with the PTP team and outsourced provider to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practicalities and exceptions.
Implement initiatives launched to address internal customer feedback and to improve customer satisfaction.

Skills for Success

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position:

Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Procure To Pay Processes.
Languages: Proficient in English spoken as well as written.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s Degree in Management Engineering, Finance, Accounting or Economics.
Purchase-to-Pay skilled in: Manage and Record Requisition and Purchase, manage Inbound Documents, Invoice and Payment Processing.
Digital Skills: Automation, RPA, IA in Finance.
