Description:
VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Business Analyst Intern to join our The North Face Finance team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Business Analyst Intern will support brand FP&A activities related to P&L Planning and Forecasting (Sales / Margin / SG&A), control around investments and preparing brand presentations, mainly focusing on the Wholesale channel.
How You Will Make a Difference
You will achieve this by:
Assisting FP&A team in the Yearly Financial Budget and Monthly Financial Forecast process, in detail:
Building yearly budget and long-term strategic plan (Sales/Margin/expenses),
Performing monthly analysis and follow-ups of Actual results,
Tracking marketing spending.
Periodic reporting:
Preparing periodic results packages for Top Management,
Analyzing periodic results with accounting and reporting departments,
Analyzing and understanding Forecast variances vs Plan, Prior Forecast and Prior Year.
Additional activities:
Supporting other departments (mainly Sales and Marketing) to help achieve business results and brand goals,
Assisting in ad-hoc analysis or business case simulations for Top Management,
Loading Forecast and Plan data into financial systems and ensure accuracy of the figures reported.
Skills for Success
To succeed as Business Analyst Intern, you need
University degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, Economics, Management Engineering or related fields – you are currently studying or you have recently graduated (not before 2023 – this is a must).
Proficiency in English spoken as well as written.
Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong analytical mindset and you are acting with agility.
You are hungry to learn, open to continuous improvement, and you are strong team player.
