VF International is looking for an exceptional Senior Manager, E-commerce Transformation, to join our Omnichannel Operations team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, E-commerce Transformation, to join our EMEA team. This role focuses on optimizing e-commerce operations and driving strategic initiatives across the region.

You will not be directly responsible for day-to-day E-commerce activities but will concentrate on designing and driving E-commerce strategic initiatives aimed at improving our financial performance, and aligning commercial strategies to elevate our digital presence and capabilities.

Job Details:

Strategic Vision & Leadership:

  • Lead the development and execution of the e-commerce transformation strategy, ensuring alignment with VF Corporation’s key objectives and long-term business goals.
  • Identify key areas of opportunity within E-commerce operations, focusing on enhancing customer experience, driving revenue growth, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to anticipate changes and adapt strategies accordingly.

Operational & Digital Excellence:

  • Determine end-to-end E-commerce operations optimizations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain logistics, to ensure seamless, efficient, and scalable processes.
  • Support the migration to new digital platforms, partnering with involved technology teams and ensuring business readiness.
  • Implement process improvements across the E-commerce ecosystem by leveraging automation and analytics.

Performance & Financial Management:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to evaluate the impact of transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rates, average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLTV) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive cost optimization projects, including refining the returns process to reduce expenses and improve the customer experience.
  • Provide actionable insights and regular reports to senior leadership, highlighting progress, risks, and opportunities

Change Management & Talent Development:

  • Lead change management efforts across the organization, ensuring that new processes, technologies, and cultural shifts are effectively adopted and sustained.
  • Partner with HR to align talent development strategies with the needs of the E-commerce transformation, identifying skill gaps and implementing training programs.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for E-commerce transformation initiatives, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across global and regional teams.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between E-commerce, IT, finance, supply chain, and brand teams.
  • Regularly communicate transformation progress, challenges, and successes to senior leadership.
  • Represent the EMEA region in global e-commerce forums, sharing insights and best practices whilst ensuring regional needs are addressed in global strategies.

Execution Monitoring & Project Management:

  • Oversee the execution of E-commerce transformation projects, ensuring that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to ensure consistent tracking, reporting, and transparency across all transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure that project outcomes meet or exceed defined objectives, with a focus on continuous improvement

Skills for Success

  • Experience in E-commerce operations, digital transformation, or a related field.
  • Experience in a consulting firm, or a competitor in the apparel, footwear, or consumer goods industry is highly desirable.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred).
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, including supply chain, logistics, and technology.
  • Proven experience in financial modelling, business analysis, and performance optimization.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
