Volcom has an exciting full time position available for a creative Graphic Artist to join our art team in Anglet (France). The position requires an individual with strong illustration and graphic art skills for various applications. The applicant must have a focused knowledge of current trends and movements within the action sports and fashion industries.

Must be experienced/skilled in required areas, Mac, Illustrator, Photoshop, Pen and Ink (must be able to draw), etc...

This position ultimately is responsible for contributing new & progressive graphics for our product lines, promotional items, events, and in-store retail applications. The Graphic artist will also be helping out with the seasonal catalog work, from pre-production to the finished product.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

Your main duties will include:

- Create visuals: advertisements, catalogue imagery, flyers, events visuals, etc;

- Manage advertisement file shipment;

- Create art for clothing lines and art pieces for our retail department;

- Participate in catalog production (print and digital catalogs)

Computer Skills:

To perform the job successfully, an individual should be at the following levels for the below software programs:

Advanced to Expert – Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop

Intermediate to Advanced - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)

Education and/or Experience:

Minimum of 3 years Graphic design work/on the job experience

A Bachelor’s Graphic Arts degree is preferable or a combination of both work experience and education.
