This is the perfect opportunity for someone with generalist HR experience or experience in recruitment (in house or with an agency) who has a desire to move into an HR role and develop their HR knowledge.
Mission:
Working with our retail network (own brand stores) and the wholesale teams you would be responsible for all HR issues within the countries that you are responsible for including:
- Recruitment – sourcing candidates, interviewing, contracts, integration…
- Handling employee relations – work closely with managers and our lawyers on day to day issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, dismissals, maternity leave…
- Ensuring that Health and Safety regulations are complied with
- Working with the payroll team to validate monthly salaries, bonuses and holidays…
- Working with the training department for development programmes for individuals and teams
- Communication and reporting to senior management.
The role involves numerous business trips to the relevant countries (at least 2 to 3 days every other week) and is based in France (St Jean de Luz) our European Headquarters.
Profile:
The ideal candidate must be bilingual, French/English and have some knowledge/experience of UK employment law. It is also essential that you are self motivated and autonomous and happy working to tight deadlines, have excellent organisational, problem solving and communication skills. This varied role requires the ability to adapt to different situations take a pragmatic approach and show initiative.
